Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East (ASE), was commissioned by UK Power Networks to carry out a watching brief on land at The Larches and Polo Farm Sports Club, Littlebourne Road, Canterbury, Kent. The excavation of a total of approximately 150m of cable trenching, together with a substation base and joint pits was monitored. Except for a modern road surface, no significant archaeological remains, neither stratified nor unstratified, were identified. |
