Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in October 2017 at Charity Farm (Phase 2), Stonesfield, Oxfordshire. Six trenches were excavated. No features or deposits of archaeological interest were identified during the evaluation, despite its proximity to Stonesfield Roman Villa. A dry valley between the site and the villa probably formed the northern boundary of the villa buildings. |
