The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was carried out by GUARD Archaeology Limited, on behalf of Bellway Homes on an area proposed development at Blackbyres Road, Barrhead, East Renfrewshire. The trial trench evaluation comprised a sample of more than 8% (288 m²) of the portion of the area proposed for development that had not been previously disturbed by the existing buildings. A total of 3 trenches were excavated across the area of the development site, two measuring 50 m long and one measuring 44 m long and all by 2 m wide. No significant archaeological remains were encountered during the evaluation. The work was undertaken on the 12th of February 2018.
