Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of a new dwelling on land adjacent to the Old Slaughter House, Orby Road, Burgh le Marsh. Extensive modern disturbance was identified across the site, and no archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered.
