The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was maintained during groundworks undertaken as part of the the amalgamation of two schools. Unfortunately, owing to a misunderstanding on the part of the on-site contractors, the majority of the groundworks were completed without archaeological monitoring. However the monitored area of the site was found to have been heavily truncated by services, and it is suggested that the unmonitored areas were probably similarly disturbed. Therefore based on the available evidence it appears unlikely that significant archaeological remains were encountered during the work
