Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East (ASE) was commissioned by CgMs Consulting on behalf of their clients BWSC and their planning consultants, Estover Energy Ltd. to undertake an archaeological watching brief during groundworks associated with a proposed new biomass plant and storage areas at the Discovery Park, Ramsgate Road, Sandwich, Kent. Observations suggest that the entire site is covered by 3m to 4.5m of reinforced concrete and modern made ground. No archaeological deposits, features or finds were observed.
