Abstract: |
The evaluation comprised two machine excavated trenches. Natural deposits were not recorded in either trench; excavation ceased due to spatial constraints and reaching groundwater. The earliest deposits in both trenches were 20th century made ground probably representing an attempt to reclaim marshy land. The made ground was overlain by deposits associated with the current housing development. No archaeological remains were retrieved from the site. |
