Abstract: |
In April and May 2018, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation and a small strip, map and sample excavation on land at Hollow Lane, Pinhoe, Exeter. The archaeological works recorded a pit and three ditches. The pit was undated, but was cut into the natural substrate and sealed by the subsoil. The irregular shape of this feature suggests that it is a tree throw. All three ditches were cut into the subsoil, and two contained modern artefactual material. |
