Abstract: |
John Moore Heritage Services carried out a Building Recording on Upper Park Farm, Beckley, Oxfordshire. The earliest indications of a structure in the location of Upper Park Farm is from 1539-1568, which is indicated by features evident in the timber framed structure of the earliest part of the building. There are also the remains of a Tudor style door that is also of a 16th century date. It is this part of the building that has been severely damaged by fire, which may mean the replacement of all primary structural components. The building was then altered multiple times between the 17th and early 19th centuries |
