Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 9 hectares of arable farmland at Papworth Everard, Cambridgeshire. A number of possible archaeological cut features appear in several locations across the survey area, as well as ridge and furrow and former field boundaries, which indicate a former agricultural landscape. The remaining anomalies are all modern or natural in origin and include agricultural activity, land drains, scattered debris and areas of geological or pedological variation. |
