Abstract: |
The geophysical survey revealed a number of reasonably sized enclosures, and many isolated linear features that likely represent a continuation of the extensive complex of Late Iron Age, Roman and medieval deposits recorded to the south. In addition to the archaeological features, a number of areas of magnetic disturbance and ferromagnetic debris were observed; any underlying archaeology in these areas will have been obscured in the survey data. The ferrous spikes close to the north-west site boundary could very well have been caused by the presence of the drain running parallel to the site. |
