Abstract: |
In October 2019, a ground penetrating radar survey was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology on land at Abbey Farm, Hoxne, Suffolk, within the curtilage of the Benedictine Hoxne Priory Scheduled Monument. This followed reconnaissance and targeted earth resistance meter and ground penetrating radar surveys in 2017, which recorded structural anomalies indicative of walls and rubble spreads. Data recorded in four further areas has prospected walls and rubble spreads potentially associated with the abbey, ditches and discrete anomalies. |
