Abstract: |
In August 2020, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological watching brief at 6 New Cut, Cullompton, Devon. The monitored groundworks identified a series of made ground layers to a depth of 0.5m below the present ground level. These made ground deposits contained modern finds that were noted but not retained. Existing services and drains were also identified. The natural substrate was not encountered in any of the monitored groundworks, that were halted at a depth of 0.5m below the present ground level. |
