Abstract:		 In September 2020, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation at Land Adjacent to Mackenzie Place, Cockfield, Suffolk. One trench was excavated across the footprint of a proposed residential development, which uncovered no archaeological remains. The stratigraphy consisted of 0.30m of topsoil over chalky boulder clay surface geology.
