Abstract: |
The evaluation trenches revealed a small number of deposits of possible archaeological interest. These comprised linear features (ditches and gullies) which provided no dating evidence despite additional sampling. It is considered likely that these are agricultural features possibly of post-medieval date. A number of geophysical anomalies were also targeted but were not found to be of archaeological interest but likely to be of geological or agricultural origin. |
