The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Evaluation and excavation revealed two phases of activity dating to the 12th to 14th and 14th to 16th centuries respectively. The earlier phase comprised the remains of a beamslot structure along with several associated pits and ditches. The later phase was also represented by beamslots, pits and ditches. A well, in use from the 15th to 16th centuries, was also uncovered: at its base was a well-preserved wooden structure or lining consisting of a number of planks and stakes that appear to have been reused from earlier structures.
