Abstract: |
An evaluation of a site behind St Mary's Church, Hardwick over 25/26 June 2016 prior to proposed development. Two 3m x 1m trenches were dug within the footprint of a proposed new building, together with auger surveys. No significant finds were made or archaeological features discovered within the area examined despite the vicinity of the church, known to be largely of 14th/15th century date. |
