Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed pits and deep ditches in the area in the middle of the farm buildings, certainly pre-dating the modern period and likely to relate to water management, perhaps associated with the nearby moat. Although only a single sherd of medieval pottery was recovered, these features could belong to that period. Elsewhere only undated or modern features were revealed. |
