Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in December 2010 at the Church of the Holy Cross, Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire. One trench was excavated. The archaeological evaluation identified a number of in situ inhumations within the footprint of the proposed development. These lay at a depth of between 0.83-1.09m below the present ground level and were sealed by a layer of re-worked soil which contained artefactual material spot-dated to the 17th to 18th centuries. |
