Abstract:		 Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Persimmon Homes Ltd to undertake a detailed gradiometer survey of land adjacent to the former site of MOD Durrington as part of an ongoing archaeological programme of work in advance of a housing development. The survey was carried out using a Bartington Grad601-2 dual fluxgate gradiometer. A number of anomalies of archaeological interest were detected, and several of possible archaeological interest.
