Abstract: |
A programme of test pitting, core drilling and grab sampling was undertaken along the course of the now heavily engineered Sandy River as it runs through the eastern side of St Austell, across Par Moor, and enters the sea west of Par Harbour. The work is intended to inform the design of flood alleviation measures in the vicinity. The fieldwork for this group of trial pits and sampling (group 54) was undertaken in April-May 2017. |
