Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation of the proposed site of the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain, Hyde Park, London, revealed evidence of Roman settlement activity. Subsequent geophysical survey was conducted on land to the south and east of this in a bid to trace any associated building remains. Unfortunately, considerable modern interference and activity at the site has meant there is little geophysical evidence for any significant archaeology.
