Abstract:		 A geophysical survey was undertaken for 0.7 hectares of a 1.3 hectare development site off Tolponds Road, Porthleven, Cornwall. The site has conditional permission for development and Cornwall Council's Senior Development Officer Historic Environment requested that a geophysical survey was undertaken to provide more information for the basis of the mitigation options. The geophysical survey did not identify any archaeological anomalies as the site is covered by 0.1m-2m depth of made ground when it was used as waste disposal site in the 1980s.
