Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East was commissioned by CgMs Consulting to undertake a 10 trench archaeological evaluation prior to redevelopment work on land at Ash Green Lane West, Tongham, Surrey. No buried archaeological features were identified in any of the evaluation trenches, the overburden of topsoil and subsoil was intact and the underlying London Clay was undisturbed in all trenches. On the basis of the results of this evaluation the site is considered to have no archaeological potential.
