Abstract:		 From 7-14 November 2016 Wessex Archaeology (North) undertook an archaeological excavation of a rectangular area c.15m x 40m, within the site of the Viking winter camp, Torksey, on behalf of the Universities of Sheffield and York. A number of features of Roman date were investigated, and finds of Viking date were recovered.
