Abstract: |
Wardell Armstrong Archaeology was commissioned to undertake a heritage impact assessment of 'Wellesbourne South', a parcel of land at Ettington Road, Wellesbourne (NGR SP 27690 54159). The assessment, undertaken in November and December 2014, consisted of a desk based consultation of primary archaeological sources and a site visit. 112 assets were identified within the study area, of which 7 were within the proposed development site boundary. Of these 7, 1 is of negligible significance and the other 6 are of local significance. Thus, any development may result in substantial impact upon, or even loss of these assets.
