Abstract:		 In June 2009 archaeological works were carried out at Icknield Infants School, Letchworth, Hertfordshire during the excavation of foundation pads and associated services, in relation to the construction of a new temporary school classroom. No deposits or finds of archaeological significance were revealed. However, as the ground works were limited in scope this does not preclude the presence of archaeological remains elsewhere on the site.
