Abstract:		 Seventeen trenches were opened mechanically under archaeological supervision and features excavated by hand. Most of the trenches revealed nothing of archaeological interest but one trench contained a ditch and a possible ditch both containing Iron Age (possibly early Iron Age) pottery.
