Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	Northamptonshire Archaeology carried out an evaluation on land adjacent to Eastern Way Daventry. The evaluation comprised the excavation of four test pits, only one of which contained archaeology. In Test pit 4 a floor surface and post-pad dating to the 12th century were uncovered. These are likely to form part of a timber-framed building possibly fronted onto Welton Road.
