Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation consisting of eight trial trenches was undertaken by CFA Archaeology Ltd on land off Barff Lane, Brayton, Selby during October 2015. The trenching revealed evidence of surviving archaeology in the form of pits and ditches, located towards the northern end of the proposed development area. The southern end of the proposed development area appeared blank. No dating evidence was recovered from any of the features sampled during the evaluation and therefore a precise date for the features was unable to be ascertained. |
