Abstract: |
The fieldwork followed the methodology set out within the WSI (CA 2018). An archaeologist was present during intrusive groundworks comprising sections of service trenches and ground reduction across the site. Following discussion with Charles Parry regarding the level of modern truncation, observations were concluded. An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology during groundworks associated with the mixed development and associated infrastructure on land at Littlecombe (Lister Petter Site), Dursley, Gloucestershire.
The observed groundworks did not expose any pre-modern deposits or features, with modern truncation identified across much of the site. As such, no features or deposits of archaeological interest were recorded, and no artefactual material was recovered |
