Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	This report presents the results of an archaeological evaluation that was carried out by South West Archaeology Ltd. (SWARCH) for an agricultural development at Land South of West Greadon Farm, Bradworthy, Torridge, Devon. A series of four trenches that totalled c.108m in length were excavated to a maximum depth of c.0.30m by machine using a c.0.90m wide toothless grading bucket and under archaeological supervision over the footprint of the proposed slurry lagoon. The stratigraphy of the site was comprised of: topsoil (100), a dark slightly reddish-brown silt-clay c.0.30m thick; overlying natural (101), a firm yellow clay with occasional sub-angular stones. No archaeological features were identified within the trenches and no finds were recovered from the site. The only notable feature was modern plough scarring that was orientated roughly in line with the topography and with the north-eastern field boundary (north-west to south-east). The results of the archaeological evaluation indicated that there were no archaeological features and no archaeological deposits within the confines of the proposed development area.
