Abstract:		 A detailed gradiometry survey was carried out over approximately 6.5 hectares of arable farmland. There is no evidence of the former structure recorded in the heritage assessment. Possible former field boundaries and modern ploughing suggest that the area has a recent agricultural past, with the field boundaries possibly marking the extent of post-medieval quarrying activity. The possible quarrying activity may equally be natural in origin, along with several other areas of natural magnetic variation. The remaining anomalies are modern in origin, relating to ferrous objects and fencing.
