Abstract:		 Between the 11th and 20th of February 2019, Oxford Archaeology (OA) conducted an archaeological investigation at Land at Back Lane, Roughton, Norfolk (centred TG 2173 3684) ahead of residential development of the site. Eight of these trenches revealed linear and discrete archaeological features within the southern part of the site. Features included ditches, gullies, pits and post holes along with a possible hollow way tentatively assigned to the Roman and medieval periods. This interpretation is supported by the layout of the linear features that suggest the presence of at least two phases of rectilinear field systems.
