Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East carried out an archaeological evaluation at Crawley Down Road, Felbridge, Surrey between the 31st August and the 3rd of September 2020. The fieldwork was commissioned by Vanderbilt Homes and Wates Developments in advance of the development of land. Thirteen trenches were excavated, two of which had archaeological features present. The archaeology present consisted of two undated linear features with no associated archaeological artefacts; possibly related to field boundaries. The stratigraphy was consistent across the site, with little disturbance, barring land drains which were present in nine of the thirteen trenches. |
