Abstract: |
The groundworks monitored as part of the archaeological watching brief comprised the hand excavation of a trench that measured 3 m by 1m into which three 175 mm wide ducts and three 150 mm wide ducts were installed. Within the trench the remains of two brick walls were encountered along with brick lined drain, all constructed of rough handmade bricks and dating to the late 18th to 19th century |
