Abstract: |
Sample trenching Felixstowe, land adjacent Brackenbury, Marcus Road (FEX 456, TM 3164 3529) evaluation trenching for a single dwelling development close to the edge of the large Roman period settlement on the coast, which has largely been lost through erosion, revealed a garden feature pond of 1920s-1930s date but no other features and no finds of pre-20th century date suggesting that this site is outside the area of Roman period settlement. |
