Abstract: |
Two trenches were opened mechanically under archaeological supervision, but could not be bottomed for safety reasons: both were entirely within Victorian made ground. The trenches did not penetrate deeper than loose Victorian made ground (1.1m deep). It is possible that older deposits could remain below this depth. |
