Abstract:		 Twenty-two trenches were opened mechanically under archaeological supervision and potential archaeological features investigated by hand. One pit can be tentatively dated to the middle or late Iron Age, on the basis of just 5 sherds of pottery, while undated features included another pit and several gullies. A series of stone surfaces, also undated, might relate to nearby earthworks.
