Abstract: |
Areas totalling around 62ha were surveyed using two cart-mounted Bartington Grad601-2 fluxgate gradiometers. The geophysical survey detected a number of anomalies, including a few curvilinear features which likely represent prehistoric deposits. There are a number of potential trackways as well as agricultural field systems that may be related to the prehistoric and Roman systems uncovered by the quarry excavations to the south west, as well as a number of discrete features such as pits. |
