Abstract: |
Four trenches and five test pits were opened mechanically under archaeological supervision and potential archaeological features excavated by hand. Two pits, a ditch (perhaps two) and a post hole were revealed, with one pit and the post hole containing Neolithic pottery and flints. The ditch matches a geophysical anomaly and is likely to be part of a prehistoric enclosure. |
