Abstract:		 The watching brief comprised the observation by a competent archaeologist of intrusive groundworks associated with the proposed development. These works comprised the machine excavation of trenches for the installation of kerbs. In May 2022, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological watching brief during groundworks associated with development at Charlton Common, Filton Bristol. No features or deposits of archaeological interest were observed and no artefacts pre-dating the modern period were recovered.
