This collection comprises raw laser scan data, meshes, and models from scanning conducted at Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln. The cathedral has vaults dating from the twelfth to the fourteenth century and the high vaults, a sample of aisle vaults, the Consistory Court, Morning Chapel, Chapter House and parts of the cloister were scanned by Dr Nicholas Webb, Dr Alexandrina Buchanan, Dr Sarah Duffy, Dr James Hillson and JR Peterson on 29th-31st July 2019. The project was funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council as part of ‘Tracing the Past’, a research project examining the design and construction of medieval vaults.
