Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. A small assemblage of finds including pottery and ceramic building material were all of a late post-medieval date. The majority were too incomplete to allow close identification of type or date. All of the finds were from topsoil and not being associated with any archaeological features were discarded.

The site archive comprises both physical and digital records. In total, this comprises unique 161 entries for archiving. Of these, 142 are digital recordings comprising the digitised paper archive, registers and photographs. Site records comprise a total of 18 A4 paper sheets which includes 13 context/trench sheets, 4 photo register sheets, 1 primary drawing register, and 1 drawing sheet on permatrace. In addition to this, 134 high resolution photograph files were taken, of which 58 were submitted to archive. All of the paper records have been digitised and imported into an excel database, and all digitally collected spatial recording has been cleaned and assembled.
