Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The small assemblage of finds including pottery and ceramic building material are all late post-medieval or modern in date. The majority are too incomplete to allow close identification of type or date. All the finds are from topsoil and not being associated with any archaeological features are recommended for discard.

The site archive comprises both physical and digital records. In total, this comprises unique 336 entries for archiving. Of these, 95 are recovered finds or archaeo-environmental samples, whilst 147 are digital recordings comprising the digitised paper archive, registers and photographs. In addition to this, 141 high resolution photograph files were taken, of which 94 were included in the archive. All of the paper records have been digitised and imported into an excel database, and all digitally collected spatial recording has been cleaned and assembled.
