This collection comprises image, report, site record, spreadsheet, GIS and CAD data from Archaeological Monitoring at Coleshill, Birmingham Road, Warwickshire, 2020.

Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by LM on behalf of HS2 to conduct archaeological monitoring of mains diversion works at WPD006 and WPD008 at Coleshill, North Warwickshire. A focus of Romano-British activity comprising at least two phases of ditches and pits was excavated immediately north of Green Lane (south of Birmingham Road). Beyond this a pit of prehistoric character was uncovered although no firm dating evidence was obtained from it. Along with an undated ditch located 220 m east of Coleshill Manor.

The archive comprises the digital records and files created during the 2020 Wessex Archaeology Monitoring of works at Coleshill, Birmingham Road, Warwickshire near Birmingham and the subsequent post-excavation assessment and analysis. The archive also includes paper records, photographic records, graphics, artefacts, ecofacts and digital data. The archive of these investigations is currently (as of May 2023) held at the offices of Wessex Archaeology in Sheffield.
