Distinctive FeaturesTwo variations of the Dressel 2-4 type are known. The first is tall with a long cylindrical body, long neck and solid spike, with a thickened rim and pseudo-bifid handles that turn at a sharp angle at the summit. The second is smaller with more of an ovoid body and a hollow spike. The handles are again pseudo-bifid and gently bend at a small bifid rim (Schweitz et alii, 1986; Martin-Kilcher, 1994).See characteristics | ||
