Visual characteristicsThere are two types of fabric. One is a fine orangey coloured calcareous fabric with very small inclusions and an orangey-beige surface. The other is sandy, rough to the touch, usually grey in the centre and lighter on the edges. It contains grains of sand and sometime orangey inclusions. The surface is pale, beige to grey or even orangey. |
