Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Visual characteristics

Normally a hard, thin-walled smooth fabric with small white limestone inclusions, buff (7.5YR 7/4) in colour

Samples from the kiln at Keratokambos in southern Crete were found to contain chert and limestone but were lacking in mica (Riley, 1979). A number of samples from Benghazi all contained plentiful mica, together with quartz and limestone (Peacock & Williams, 1986: Class 41).
