Hexagonal pillbox, with 5 plain embrasures and 2 slightly stepped embrasures. All embrasures were originally shuttered in a style similar to that of the Ballykinlar pillboxes (SK.1) although none now remain. The 5 main embrasures each have an ammunition recess underneath, with a corresponding additional reinforcement on the outside to negate the loss of wall thickness. Access is by the half doorway at the rear and the iron door, with a double drop bolt, is still in place. There is a thick layer of turf on the roof as camouflage. The pillbox originally had a commanding field of fire in all directions, but the raising of a concrete sea wall has now blocked this. The main arc is to the S. The pillbox is now within a Department of Environment (NI) sewage farm complex and access is very difficult.
